California State Automobile Association

As a California State Automobile Association (CSAA) Approved Auto Repair facility we have met exacting standards of reliability and quality which provides an additional measure of confidence for all our customers.

In addition, CSAA members enjoy an additional benefit: CSAA guarantees our work for their members for 12 months or 12,000 miles. If during this time a CSAA member has a problem or complaint that we don't satisfy CSAA will investigate. We are bound by contract with CSAA to abide by their decision. Automotive Service Councils

Automotive Service Councils of California is a con-federation of shops commonly bound by an interest in the automotive industry to uphold an improve the high standards and integrity of the profession.

The Association works to assist the individual member in confronting problems. They assist in the education of members and future technicians. They dedicate themselves, through their own personal obligation, toward future growth and expansion by professional, ethical practice. Through avenues available to them, the Association seeks to correct abuses within the industry.

Bosch Authorized Service Center

Bosch is the major supplier of electrical and fuel systems for most European import vehicles. Many Japanese and some domestic vehicles use fuel and electrical components manufactured under license to Robert Bosch Corporation. There are only 500 Bosch Authorized Service Facilities in the United States. Shops carrying this designation have passed a rigorous set of criteria which qualifies them to attend Bosch factory training and purchase special equipment which is only available through Bosch.

In addition, Bosch supplies the latest specifications, workshop bulletins and update information to its Authorized Service Specialists. In many instances only the local dealer and the Bosch Service Specialists have access to information needed to diagnose and repair your vehicle.

When Bosch remanufactured electrical components are installed on your vehicle you have a one year warranty on parts and labor anywhere in the U.S., including free towing to a Bosch approved repair facility, if needed. If your vehicle has components by Bosch an Authorized Service Center is always your best choice.

Automotive Service Excellence

The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) offers a testing and certification program to professional automotive technicians.

Twice yearly the institute gives a series of written tests which measure diagnostic and repair skills. Upon passing the exam, and providing proof of a minimum of two years of hands-on experience, a professional becomes ASE certified in a particular area, such as Brakes, Automatic Transmissions, Steering, etc. There are eight basic tests and several advanced tests.

Any professional who is certified in all eight areas is certified as a Master Automotive Technician. Every 5 years, professionals must be retested to remain certified.

In order to be certified as a "Blue Seal of Excellence Facility", a company must have 75% of it's professionals certified in at least one area. Larry's AutoWorks easily meets this requirement since over 75% of our professionals are certified in all eight areas. We are one of only two shops in the area that meet these criteria!

We also have several Technicians with advanced certifications such as Alternative Fuels and Advanced Computer Control Diagnostics (L1).

Automotive Service Association

The Automotive Service Association's written Code of Ethics sets the standard for excellence in the automotive service industry. Headquarted in Bedford, Texas, it has members in all 50 states and in several foreign countries. As a consumer, you should be aware that the ASA promotes a written Code of Ethics.

As an ASA member, we adhere to these strict ethical guidelines, pledging to perform high quality service at a fair and just price. As our customer, you can be assured that we are committed to the highest standards of business practice and will stand behind our service and products.

Larry's AutoWorks has teamed up with ACDelco parts to deliver the best automotive products for those who want things done right, both with parts and service. We use ACDelco parts exclusively in out service and repairs. ACDelco is the original equipment manufacturer for most General Motors parts. ACDelco also makes quality parts for vehicles made by manufacturers such as Toyota, Chrysler, BMW, Honda, and more. In fact, ACDelco makes parts to fit over 95% of all cars and trucks on the road!

In addition, ACDelco is the provider of training for GM Dealership Technicians. As an authorized ACDelco Independent Service Center we also have access to those same classes for our specialists. This combination allows us to offer the best warranties available and assure you of the best possible job done, the right way.

ALLDATA Automotive Information Services

ALLDATA is the leading provider of diagnostic, repair and estimating information to the professional automotive service industry. ALLDATA's products and services provide comprehensive diagnostic, repair and estimating information for vehicles from 1982 to present. In addition, Technical Service Bulletins (TSB's) from vehicle manufacturers are listed and updated. Many of these TSB's are not normally available outside the dealership, and provide our shop the ability to notify customers of factory recommended or required repairs of which they might not otherwise be aware.

Diamond Certified by the American Ratings Corporation

In order to earn Diamond Certified, a local service company must apply to be rated by American Rating Corporation (ARC) and pass each step of it twelve-step rating and certification process. ARC actually pulls a random sample of past customers from the applicant’s files and surveys typically 100 customers by telephone. Most companies can’t pass the rating because a customer satisfaction survey score of greater than 88 on a scale of 100 is required. In addition, ARC verifies proper insurance, state licenses, complaint status, business practices, financial stability and legal judgment status. Additionally, each quarter and additional 25 random customers are surveyed to ensure the Diamond Certified Company is maintaining its high customer satisfaction.
